The Jett Topanga is Tenue.’s take on the girlfriend jean. A high rise straight fit that still has the femininity of a fitted jean. The jeans have a dark blue vintage-like wash and are made in Italy.
Tenue. defines the girlfriend jean as the laidback feel of a straight-fit boyfriend jean with the femininity of a more fitted one - the best of two worlds. The other great thing about the Jett is that it comes in 3 different lengths, as opposed to the regular 2 different lengths. This makes the Jett more versatile since you can wear it either cropped, fitted or baggy. The Jett Topanga is made from a 14oz. fabric from the legendary Orta mill. The jeans have a vintage look to them with a salt and pepper effect which was achieved with a stonewash. The jeans are made in Italy by the Corneli family in Umbertide.

The best way to describe the extraordinary IMJIT factory is to start by saying it is not really a factory. We perceive our facility in Padova as a laboratory, a boiler room where jeans are designed, developed and made. It is the only factory we ever stepped foot in that actually makes haute couture for Parisian and British designers as well as jeans for companies such as Tenue.. It’s this constant clash of cultures as well as their apparent expertise that makes the factory so unique. The laboratory of the Canova family was established in the 1980s, during the true denim Eldorado in the Veneto area.
